THAT, Clause 34 of the Bill be amended in paragraph (b) subparagraph (ii) by inserting the words “, insurance brokerage” immediately after the word “insurance” I am moving this amendment because if we charge VAT on insurance brokerage services, the premiums are already factored in at Section 70 of the Insurance Act.
